                            We just love dum aloo recipe , specially Kashmiri Style Dum Aloo.It is very awesome & tasty recipe. A lunch or a dinner can be totally completed with pulao & kashmiri dum aloo.I made it authentic kashmiri style.Besides, some extra flavors I have added in this recipe taught by my Mom.Do try this Recipe and give me feedback.I will be waiting for your comments.You can also try my rice recipes,perfect for this dish...So,Lets start how to learn this amazing dish...🌝🌝

Recipe Type : Indian Vegetarian Curry

                       1. 500 gms raw potato,cut into half size
                       2. 2 tomato paste
                       3. 2 tablespoon ginger paste
                       4. 1 tablespoon poppy seeds paste, 25 gm cashew nuts paste, peanuts paste(Optional), 3-4 raisin
                       5. 1/2 cup yogurt
                       6. 1 tablespoon ghee
                       7. 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
                       8. 1 dry red chilli
                       9. 1 chopped green chilli
                      10. 1 tablespoon black pepper
                      11. 3-4 green cardamom ,1 cinnamon, 2-3 cloves
                      12. 1 pinch of asefoetida
                      13. 1 teaspoon garam masala
                      14. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
                      15. 1 teaspoon cumin powder
                      16. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
                      17. 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chili powder
                      18. 1 tablespoon fenugreek leaves
                      19. 1 teaspoon sugar
                      20. mustard oil
                      21. salt to taste

                     Step 1 : Fry the potatoes very well in sufficient hot mustard oil for 10 minutes until it is golden brown.Now heat a pan & give two tablespoon oil.When the oil is hot give hing,dry red chilli,whole spices,raisin,cumin seeds and little sugar, then mix it well.Next add tomato,ginger paste and turmeric powder.Mix it and cover it with a lid for 2 minutes on low flame.
                   Step 2 : Opening the lid add green chilli, pepper,yogurt and stir it. Then add all powdered spices and cashew,posto(poppy seeds) paste.Stir it well for a while on low flame.Now give salt and fenugreek leaves in it. Add some water and add all the potatoes,mix it.Cook it for 5-6 minutes with lid.Make sure that the potatoes are boiled. Now turn off the flame,after adding ghee and garam masala in it.Here it is ready our Tasty & Spicy Kashmiri Dum Aloo.Enjoy it with Pulao or Jeera Rice & give me feedback..🌝
