                    Rice Kheer is a famous rice pudding in India.In Bengal it is called Chaler Payesh.It's so tasty and delicious often prepare during the festivals.It is very auspicious dish not only Bengal but also in Kerala.Yes,in Kerala,in Onam festival it is the main dish,called Payasam.Also very easy and simple to cook.The taste becomes enhance if you use Gobindo bhog rice.It's a small grain, aromatic,sticky rice having nice buttery flavor.It is easily available in the market.If you cant get the rice cook it with plain aromatic rice.So lets start how to prepare this festive special dish...Shall we?🌝

1. Rice Kheer With Jaggery / Bengal Special Nolen gurer Payesh

Ingredients :

                      1. 150 gms gobindo bhog rice
                      2. 150 gms sugar
                      3. 2 bay leaves
                      4. 25 gm finely chopped almonds
                      5. 25 gm chopped cashew nuts
                      6. 25 gm raisin
                      7. smashed green cardamom
                      8. 1 tablespoon ghee
                      9. some saffron
                     10. 1 and 1/2 litre milk

Method :
               Step 1 : Wash the rice only for once and mix it with some ghee.Now take a pan and pour the milk to boil.After boiling the milk for a while add rice and bay leaves.Mix it and cook it for 8 to 10 minutes on low flame.
              Step 2 : Make sure that the rice is cooked then take a aluminium bowl and heat it on another burner.Add some ghee in it.After,give cashew nuts in hot ghee.Stir it for once and immediately give it in the rice kheer.Now add almonds and sugar.
              Step 3 : Stir it continuously(so that rice do not get sticky) on low flame for 3-4 minutes.Add raisin and cardamom, mix it for 2-3 minutes.Next give saffron in it and mix it well.Here it is ready your special festive dish Rice Kheer.Garnish it with your favorite dry fruits and enjoy the festive season.Thank you...
