1. 25 grams Black Gram (Urad Daal)
2. 25 grams Bengal Gram ( Chana Dal)
3. 25 grams Split Red Lentils ( Musoor Dal)
4. 25 grams Split Green Gram ( Moong Dal)
5. 25 grams Split Red Gram ( Tur Dal)
6. 2 tablespoon Ginger Paste
7. Some Desiccated Coconut
8. 2 Dry Red Chillies
9. Some Whole Garam Masala
10. 1/2 teaspoon Shah Jeera
11. 1/2 teaspoon Fennel Seeds
12. 1 tablespoon Sugar
13. 2 tablespoon Ghee
14. 2-3 tablespoon Mustard Oil
15. 2 medium Chopped Tomatoes

Method :

7. Some Desiccated Coconut
8. 2 Dry Red Chillies
9. Some Whole Garam Masala
10. 1/2 teaspoon Shah Jeera
11. 1/2 teaspoon Fennel Seeds
12. 1 tablespoon Sugar
13. 2 tablespoon Ghee
14. 2-3 tablespoon Mustard Oil
15. 2 medium Chopped Tomatoes
16. Some Curry Leaves

Method :
Step 1 : At first dry roast only the Moong Dal for a minute in a heated pan. Then take all the five(5) types lentils together in a container and wash them in lukewarm water. Then keep the lentils soaked for 15 minutes.
Step 2 : After 15 minutes take water and boil it(twice the quantity of all the lentils together) in a pressure cooker to boil the lentils.Then add bay leaves,green chilli and the whole spices & put on the pressure cooker lid for some time on medium flame.
Step 3 : After 4-5 whistles open the lid of the cooker, mix the lentils and keep aside. Now, take a pan and put some oil and some ghee.Then add red chillis, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, ginger paste, chopped tomatoes, curry leaves and saute it for a while.
Step 4 : After that add desiccated coconut for that nice flavor and saute for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and sugar and saute again. Then add the boiled mixed lentils in the mixture. You can take out the bay leaves from it. Now cook it for a while on low flame with the pan lid on.
Step 5 : Now turn off the flame and add coriander leaves. Now for tadka take an aluminium tadka bowl & put some ghee and melt it, give shah jeera and curry leaves. After mixing it put this hot mixture in the mixed dal. So, here our Rajasthani Panchmel Dal is ready. Cover it with the lid for a minute and it is ready to be served hot with rice, paratha or Rajasthani baati.
Garnish the dish with some desiccated coconut and fresh coriander leaves to make it attractive.

Step 2 : After 15 minutes take water and boil it(twice the quantity of all the lentils together) in a pressure cooker to boil the lentils.Then add bay leaves,green chilli and the whole spices & put on the pressure cooker lid for some time on medium flame.
Step 3 : After 4-5 whistles open the lid of the cooker, mix the lentils and keep aside. Now, take a pan and put some oil and some ghee.Then add red chillis, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, ginger paste, chopped tomatoes, curry leaves and saute it for a while.
Step 4 : After that add desiccated coconut for that nice flavor and saute for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and sugar and saute again. Then add the boiled mixed lentils in the mixture. You can take out the bay leaves from it. Now cook it for a while on low flame with the pan lid on.
