Rajma or Red Kidney Beans Curry is a famous & flavorful dish throughout India.The rajma curries are mainly two types, one Punjabi Rajma masala,and other Kashmiri Rajma masala.Both are awesome,aromatic and authentic.I made it in punjabi dhaba style.This dish is burst with aroma of a variety of special spices,also very easy to cook.It goes best with rice or paratha as you like.Do try this royal recipe and give me good feedback.So lets start how to learn this punjabi dhaba style rajma....

Ingredients : –

                         1. 2 cups of rajma / red kidney beans (overnight Soaked)

                         2. 1/2 chopped onions

                         3. paste of 3 tomatoes

                         4. paste of 2 onions

                         5. 1 tablespoon ginger paste

                         6. 1 tablespoon garlic paste

                         7. 1 tablespoon cumin seeds

                         8. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

                        10. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

                        11. 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder

                        12. 1 teaspoon cumin powder

                        13. 1 teaspoon coriander powder

                        14. some whole garam masala

                        15. 2-3 slit green chillies

                        16. 2 dry red chillies

                        17. 4 tablespoon mustard oil

                        18. 1 tablespoon kasuri methi(fenugreek leaves)

                        19. some chopped coriander leaves

                        19. salt or to taste

                        20. 1 teaspoon ghee

Method : –

Step 1 : Boil the rajma in pressure cooker for 6-7 whistle.Keep the extra stock of boiled rajma aside.

Now Put oil on hot pan and let it heat up. give whole garam masala,dry red chilli,bay leaf,cumin seeds.Mix it for few seconds.Then add chopped onion,fry till golden.Add onion paste & ginger and garlic paste and green chillies & fry well for 4-5 minutes.



                 Step 2 : Now give all the powdered masala into the mixture and stir well.Now add tomato paste and  and mix them well with the masala.Cook it for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.Then add little rajma stock water in the mixture and mix again.Now add 1 glass of rajma stock or water and give boiled rajma into it. After mixing it add salt to taste.Now cover the lid,& cook it for 7-8 minutes.


                         Open the lid and mix well.Now add some coriander leaves,kasuri methi,ghee & little garam masala.Mix it and here our super tasty and spicy punjabi dhaba style rajma masala ready to be served with chawal or paratha....
