DELICIOUS RICE KHEER WITH JAGGERY / RICE PUDDING / CHAWAL KI KHEER / GUR KI KHEER / BENGALI NOLEN GURER PAYESH
                                       
                                      This rice kheer with jaggery is a super tasty dessert.This recipe is a traditional Bengali Recipe.In Bengal people call it Nolen Gurer Payesh.Nolen Gur means new jaggery. In winter we get this jaggery from dates tree.It is also called khejur gur. It's taste is like heaven,very very tasty.And when Rice kheer is made from this jaggery its delicious taste will explain you what it is ! Ingredients
                       1. 1 and 1/2 liter milk
                       2. 250 gms gobindo bhog rice or any aromatic rice
                       3. 25 gms chopped cashew nuts
                       4. 25 gms chopped almonds
                       5. 25 gms raisin
                       6. 2 bay leaves
                       7. 1 tablespoon cardamom powder 
                       8. 200 gms jaggery.
                       9. 1 tablspoon ghee
Method :
                 Step 1. At first wash the rice properly and strain the water from the rice. Now mix it with some ghee. Boil the milk for a while. Then add the rice and bay leaves into the boil water and stir it very well.
                 Step 2. After 5 minutes give cashew nuts,almonds,and raisin in it and mix it well on medium flame. Stir it continuously another 5 minutes.If necessary add 1 cup milk in it.
                 Step 3. Now add jaggery in it, make sure that the rice has cooked,stir it for another 5 minutes.Add cardamom powder and mix it. Switch off the flame. Cover it with a lid for 2-3 minutes.Here the dish is ready to be served.Smell the nice aroma of rice and jaggery and enjoy the special kheer with family...
